“Make Music Change Lives”
Thousands of children and adults have been helped by Nordoff-Robbins Music Therapy in Scotland since we acquired charity status in 1996.
Our principle objectives are to provide access to music therapy services across Scotland and to develop awareness of music therapy. We do so by providing a busy clinical service and by offering training and information. By constantly reviewing all our work, we provide the highest standards in the delivery of all these services.
We employ music therapists from a range of training backgrounds and have premises in Lasswade (Midlothian), Glasgow, Crosshill (Fife) and Dundee. Clinical work also takes our therapists into schools, hospitals, hospices and day and residential centres across Scotland.
Our staff, Board members, fundraisers and volunteers work tirelessly to promote the charity and all aspects of music therapy. We would like to thank them, our clients and clinical services for all contributing in so many ways. The hard work and kindness of everyone concerned ensures the work of the charity can develop and continue to enrich the lives of so many people.

To mark our 15 years as a charity, we are delighted to announce our 4th Symposium "A Voyage of Discovery: 15 years of Nordoff-Robbins Music Therapy in Scotland". This will be held in Dundee and will cover an exciting programme, celebrating the work the charity undertakes. Our speakers will come from our own highly skilled and experienced staff team, and the varied programme will be of interest to music therapists and non-music therapists alike. There will be opportunities for delegates to enhance their own practice through case study presentations and practical workshops.
