Nordoff-Robbins Music Therapy in Scotland holds a bi-annual symposium on music therapy. Three having taken place to date, including Realising the Potential (2009), Moving Forward: Progression in Music Therapy (2007) and Promoting Growth and Change (2005). As well as presentations and workshops given by our highly experienced staff, we invite greatly respected keynote speakers including Jackie Robarts, Tessa Watson, Professor Mercedes Pavlicevic and Dr Julie Sutton.
We are delighted to announce our 4th Symposium “A Voyage of Discovery: 15 years of Nordoff-Robbins Music Therapy in Scotland”. This will be held in Dundee and will cover an exciting programme, celebrating the work the charity undertakes. Our speakers will come from our own highly skilled and experienced staff team, and the varied programme will be of interest to music therapists and non-music therapists alike. There will be opportunities for delegates to enhance their own practice through case study presentations and practical workshops
