Outreach Services
As well as carrying out sessions at our own premises, we provide music therapy in a variety of outreach venues including:
- Schools
- Hospitals
- Hospices
- Residential Health Care Settings
- Local Community Projects
These are located throughout the Lothians, Fife, Stirling, Glasgow, Renfrewshire, East Ayrshire, Angus, North Lanarkshire, and the Borders. This work involves a music therapist going out and working at a venue. Where possible, we enter into a Service Level Agreement, which secure the work for stated period and renew them as required. This ensures that the individuals receiving music therapy have regular (normally weekly) sessions, which allows the music therapist to form a consistent therapeutic relationship with them.
